Hello-hello! 

I'd like to apologize for my period of silence this past month or so, namely because uh... A lot's been happening. Like. Ever since the tail end of July. 

The TL;DR of it without getting into too much detail is IRL things have left me stressed, my mental health is starting to slip again, and in a less Concerning note, I got a new hyperfixation for a little bit. Oopsies.

But I think things have released the grip on my brain juuust enough to allow me to make some progress on writing the script a little bit at a time each day, so progress will be picking up again, steadily.

My hope is to get done with the writing portion of the revamped prologue so I can hand things off to my writing team to look over and my art team to start thinking about what assets we'll need, as well as the coding team so we can get certain plugins set up early on so they're not as much of an issue to add later in development!

As we've discussed earlier, we'll be moving on ahead with doing the entirety of the Fae route as our next major update, which will also come with a revamped prologue section so as to make things feel a lot more natural and you can actually see how all the jesters get along with each other! Here's a little look at a bit of the plans for that:

Because of the aforementioned roadblocks, I haven't even gotten to the castle yet with my writing of the script... But again, think I'm ready to start tackling it in smaller chunks each day this time! Who knows, maybe there will be days I get taken over by the jester muse and end up writing out five pages in one go!
